Top Notes
Citrus fruits are memorable for their fragrance like flavonoids and limonoids embodied in the skin of the fruit. The juice contains a high amounts of citric acid which gives it its distinct flavor. Citrus’ scent can be described as fresh, tangy, crisp, and uplifting.
Lemon is a small thorny tree with bright yellow citrusy fruits, cultivated in all tropical and subtropical regions of the world. Lemon originates from the Middle East, and it was probably brought to Spain and Africa somewhere in the Middle Ages. Lemon is described as astringent, sour, sweet undertone, aromatic nuance, bright, cheerful and vibrant.
Bergamot comes from a small tree that blossoms during the winter called Citrus bergamia. It’s a citrus fruit with a green color similar to a lime. It has the capability to combine with a bundle of scents to form aromas that perfectly complement each other.
Mid Notes
Jasmine is a genus from the Oleaceae family which are native to the tropical areas of Eurasia, Australasia and Oceania. Jasmine has an incredibly intense aroma that has a rich,sweet, and fruity scent to it.
Lavender is a genus to the Lamiaceae family native to Europe and Eastern Africa. Lavender has a floral, fresh, sweet, herbaceous and sometimes slightly fruity scent to it.
Lily is the common English name for flowering plants of the Lilium genus. Lilies mostly grow in temperate northern hemisphere. The lily has been described as spicy and waxy note which can become intoxicating with aspects of brine and sweet floralcy
Base Notes
Sandalwood is a type of wood from trees in the genus Santalum. It has a sensually soft, deep, earthy, creamy, spicy, and piney scent to it.
A fossilized highly viscous substance of plant origins or from evergreen trees from the Neolithic times. A pure chroma color split between a warm golden and a deep orange. When burned at the perfect temperature, it gives off the natural scent of pinewood.
An inky, bitter-smelling forest floor evocative, prized essence coming from the lichen that grows on oak trees in Europe (harvested in the Balkans). Nowadays severely restricted under skin sensitization concerns, it is nevertheless an essential part of chypre fragrances and fougère fragrances.
